Rover Launches Dog Walking Services In Denver

Seattle-based Rover.com says it is expanding to the city of Denver, Colorado, as part of a larger expansion of its services, the company said this morning. Rover said it now has more than 120,000 dog walkers in thousands of cities across the U.S. Rover said the company is planning its next launch in Portland, Oregon, in OCtober, with more cities launching in upcoming weeks. Rover has been ramping up its expansion since a big funding round in July, worth $65. That funding came from Spark Capital, and also included Bespoke Strategies and StepStone Group, along with Madrona Venture Group, Menlo Ventures, Foundry Group, OMERS Ventures and Technology Crossover Ventures.
