Rover.com Hits $100M Run Rate
Seattle-based Rover.com, the online pet sitting and dog walking marketplace, says it has surpassed a $100M run rate, as it launches a new real-time feature to track pets for pet owners. According to the company, it passed up that $100M run rate earlier in the year, and has seen more than 50 percent year-over-year growth, with more than 65,000 sitters on its platform. The company said it launched a new feature called "Rover Cards", aimed at pet owners who want a turn-by-turn map of the dog walks of their dogs--complete with photos of their dogs, and notes on bathroom breaks along the way. Rover is led by Aaron Easterly.
