Rover.com Expands to UK, As It Begins Push Into Europe

Seattle-based Rover, the pet sitting and dog walking marketplace led by CEo Aaron Easterly, is making a push into Europe, starting with launch in the United Kingdom. According to Rocer.com, it will start offering services in the United Kingdom in July, as it looks to expand its reach beyond its existing base in the U.S. and Canada. Rover said that there are more than 80 million pet-owning households in Europe, with about 75 percent of the population living in urban area, the areas that best match Rover's business model.
