Cray Wins $13M Contract In Sweden
Seattle-based Cray said today that it has won a $13M contract in Sweden, with the PDC Center for High Performance Computing at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. According to Cray, the deal covers the installation of a next-generation, Cray XC supercomputer. The new supercomputer will be used for climate modeling, fluid dynamics, neuroscience, plasma physics, materials science and molecular simulation.
