Urban Airship CEO Steps Down
The CEO of Portland-based Urban Airship has stepped down on an "extended leave of absence", in order to focus on what he called a "personal situation". In an internal memo to employees shared by the company to the public, CEO Scott Kveton said he had already been working with the board of directors to find a new CEO as the company began to outgrow his ablity to effectively lead it. The move comes as Kveton is now facing a sexual assault investigation and accusations of rape by a former girlfriend.
