Urban Airship Finds $12M More

Portland-based mobile notification infrastructure developer Urban Airship said today that it has raised $12.1M more in a Series D financing round, from the company's existing investors. The company said the new funding came from True Ventures, Foundry Group and August Capital. The new round brings the company's total raised to $58.7M. According to the company, it will use the new funds to accelerate its growth. Urban Airship is led by Brett Caine, who recently was named CEO. Urban Airship's messaging and notification infrastructure is used for mobile push messaging, in-app messages, and other mobile notifications. More information »
