Urban Airship Updates Product
Portland-based Urban Airship, the developer of mobile messaging and push notification software headed by Scott Kveton, said today that it has launched an update to its product. Urban Airship said that it has added enhancements to its analytics and reporting services, allowing developers to measure how many users are opting in or option out of push notification from their applications. Urban Airship said the new analytics report will be available to its Premium Plan customers. Urban Airship's tools make it easier to scale up push notifications in their mobile apps; the firm is venture backed by Founder's Co-op, Foundry Group, Intel Capital, salesforce.com, True Ventures and Verizon.
