Urban Airship Scores $15.1M

Portland-based Urban Airship, the developer of mobile applications, said today that it has raised $15.1M in a Series C funding round. The round included salesforce.com and Verizon, along with existing investors Foundry Group and True Ventures. The company said the funding brings its total raised to $21.6M. The new funds come just a week after Urban Airship announced the acquisition of SimpleGeo. More information »
