Urban Airship Lands $21M

Portland-based Urban Airship said Friday that it has raised $21M, bringing its total raised to $67.6M. The new, Series D funding came from August Capital, Foundry Group, Franklin Park Associates, QuestMark Partners, True Ventures and Verizon Ventures. Urban Airship said it doubled its customer base in 2014. The company develops push messaging software used by mobile app developers.
