Amazon Web Services Launches Certification Program

Seattle-based Amazon Web Services is looking to help information technology professionals prove their expertise with its cloud computing services today, saying it has launched a new certification program. Amazon Web Services said its new, AWS Certification Program, will have its first examples sometime this year, to allow professionals to show they have knowledge of AWS best practices, and have the technical knowledge necessary for building and maintaining applications and services on the AWS Cloud. Amazon said it will administer the testing through more than 100 countries and 750 testing locations worldwide.
