Glowforge Starts Shipping Pro 3D Printers

Seattle-based 3D printer maker Glowforge says it has begun shipping the $6,995 "Pro" version of its printer, starting today, with delivery expected on March 22nd. Glowforge let its U.S. customers who had pre-ordered the device know that it would ship this morning, and also started taking delivery of addition "Pro" units. Glowforge is not yet shipping its "Basic" model, which costs $3,995, and still says those devices will not be delivered until June of this year.
