Glowforge Gets $22M In Series B Funding

Seattle-based Glowforge, which is developing subtractive, laser-based 3D printers, has raised $22M in a Series B funding, the company said on Monday. The funding was led by Foundry Group an True Ventures. The funding comes on top of an earlier, $9M Series A funding, as well as a huge, $27.9 million crowdfunding campaign from the company. Glowforge, led by Dan Shapiro, said it is now expecting to ship its product in March of next year. More information »
