Amazon Extends FreeTime To Android

Seattle-based Amazon said on Wednesday that it has extended its Amazon FreeTime app--the children's book, video, and website app--to Android phones and tablets. The app--which previously was only available on Amazon Fire devices--provides screened YouTube videos and websites, books, and other content that have been screened as appropriate for kids. Amazon said the Amazon FreeTime Unlimited service starts at $2.99 per month.
