Amazon Extends App Distribution Internationally
Seattle-based Amazon has extended its mobile Android application distribution today, saying that it has now extended that to nearly 200 countries. According to Amazon, the move will allow registered developers to make their applications available internationally as Amazon opens up its Amazon Appstore in those various countries. Amazon has so far been restricting its Appstore to a limited number of countries aside from the U.S., including the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Japan. Amazon opened up the option for international distribution to developers today.
