Bezos Backs Deep Sentinel For AI Security

Deep Sentinel, a stealth mode startup working on applying artificial intelligence software to the home security market, has raised $7.4M in a Series A funding round, which includes Bezos Expeditions, the investment funding firm owned by Jeff Bezos. The funding was led by Shasta Ventures, and also included Lux Capital and an investment from eBay's Pierre Omidyar, via his UP2398 fund. The company is based in Pleasanton, California.
