Kymeta Raises $73.5M

Redmond, Washington-based satellite antenna technology developer Kymeta has raised $73.5M in new funding, from fifteen investors, according to a regulatory filing by the company. Names of the investors in the new round have not yet officially been announced by the company. Kymeta develops satellite antennas, which use metamaterials rather than physical components to electronically "steer" those antennas, dramatically reducing the size and improving the reliability of those antennas.
