Kymeta Raises $20M, Swaps CEO
Redmond-based Kymeta has raised $20M in a financing round, and has shuffled its CEO, the company said earlier this week. Kymeta said the investment came from existing investors, including Bill Gates and lux Capital. Kymeta has appointed Nathan Kundtz--the company's President, CTO, and co-founder--as interim CEO. Kymeta is developing metamaterials-based antennas aimed at satellite communications. Kundtz replaces current CEO Vern Fotheringham.
