Kymeta Takes $62M In New Funding
Redmond-based satellite antenna technology developer Kymeta has raised $62M in a Series D funding. Kymeta said the funding included Bill Gates, Lux Capital, Kresge Foundation and Osage University Partners, as well as undisclosed strategic partners. Kymeta, led by Nathan Kundtz, uses metamaterials technology to create electronically steerable antennas for connecting to high speed satellites. Kymeta has now raised north of $132M.
