Donuts Names Microsoft Vet As New CEO
Bellevue-based domain name registry operator Donuts Inc. has named a new CEO, saying that it has appointed Microsoft veteran Bruce Jaffe to the position. The firm--which registers top level domains like .media, .photography, and .life--said that current CEO and co-founder Paul Stahura is shifting to become full-time Executive Chair of its board. John Pollard has taken the role of Chief Revenue Officer. Jaffe has been on the Donuts' board for just over a year, and had most recently been leading Microsoft's corporate development group. Stahura said in a statement that Jaffe took over his CEO post at his request; Stahura remains the company's second largest shareholder.
