Name.Kitchen Looks To Help Entrepreneurs Cook Up Not-Com Domain Names
A new website, called Name.Kitchen, created by Bellevue-based domain registry Donuts, is hoping to help entrepreneurs and small businesses cook up new names for their companies. The new site features links to tools, articles, and more about figuring out a name for a company's domain, with a significant number of tools aimed at directing users to the global top level domain (gTLDs) being managed by Donuts. Donuts operates a large number of global top level domains, which are the newly approved alternatives and expansion beyond the typical .com and .net domains being used by many companies today. Donuts said it is looking to call attention to meaningful "not-com" options for businesses with the new website.
