Donuts Adds Twelve gTLDs

Bellevue-based Donuts, the domain name registrar which is targeting support for the new crop of generic, top level domains (gTLDs) that are being issued by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), said Friday that it has added twelve new gTLDs. According to Donuts, it has signed 12 additional registry agreements for .BIKE .CAMERA .CLOTHING .EQUIPMENT .ESTATE .GURU .HOLDINGS .LIGHTING .SINGLES .VENTURES .VOYAGE, as well as one in Chinese equivalent to .ENTERPRISE in English. Financial details of the deals were not announced. Donuts said all of those gTLDs have a ten year agreement for the company to manage registration on those gTLDs.
