Redfin's New Opportunity Score Helps Rate Homes Based On Car-Free Commutes

What's the best place to live, if you don't want to have to commute to work via car? Seattle-based online real estate brokerage Redfin has just answered that question, with a new "Opportunity Score", which rates homes with the most number of jobs within a 30-minute, car-free commute from any address. According to Redfin, it has just rolled out that new "Opportunity Score" across more than 350 cities across the country, finding that the top three cities for properties with that characteristic being San Jose, Milwaukee, and Albuquerque. The new tool comes on top of existing tools from Redfin to help people pinpoint homes, including its Walk Score, Bike Score and Transit Score tools.
