Cray Wins Contract In Kyoto
Seattle-based Cray said this week that it has won a contract in Kyoto, Japan, to supply one of its Cray XC40 supercomputers to the Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics (YITP). Financial impact of the contract win was not announced. Cray said the supercomputer will be used for theoretical physica research, including for astrophysics, nuclear physics and particle physics.
