Cyanogen Snags Strategic Funding From Foxconn
Seattle- and Palo Alto, California-based operating system developer Cyanogen, which develops an alternative, Android OS distribution, announced Tuesday that it has received a strategic investment from Foxconn. Foxconn, which is a contract manufacturer known for its work manufacturing the iPhone, joined Cyanogen's earlier announced Series C funding. Size of the investment were not disclosed. Cyanogen had announced an $80M round in March for its operating system. More information »
