Cyanogen Switches To Self Driving Technology

Onetime Seattle Android startup Cyanogen--now known as Cyngn--appears to have pivoted to self driving automobile software, and has shifted its operations entirely to the Bay Area. Cyngn now lists a large number of positions related to self-driving cars on its website, and also has applied to test self driving cars in California. Cyngn had previously raised more than $115M in funding from such investors as Andreessen Horowitz, Benchmark, Index Ventures, Redpoint, Qualcomm, and Tencent for its Android OS efforts.
