Amazon Turns To Woody Allen For TV Series
Seattle-based Amazon.com said today that its content development arm, Amazon Studios, has signed on director Woody Allen to create a television series for Prime Instant Video. Amazon said that Woody Allen will develop a half hour series called the Untitled Woody Allen Project. The new series will show on Prime Instant Video in the US, UK, and Germany. In a statement, Woody Allen said "I don't know how I got into this. I have no ideas and I'm not sure where to begin. My guess is that Roy Price will regret this." Roy Price is Amazon Studios' Vice President.
