Pendrell Inks Patent Deal With SK Hynix

Kirkland-based intellectual property owner Pendrell said Friday that it has entered into a patent licensing agreement with SK hynix. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Pendrell said the IP portfolio licensed to SK hynix covers more than 145 patents and patents pending, covering embedded MultimediaCard (eMMC) memory technologies. Pendrell acquired those memory patents from Nokia back in March of 2013.
