F5 Networks Integrates With OpenStack

Seattle-based network traffic management hardware and software provider F5 Networks has jumped on the OpenStack bandwagon, saying today that it has integrated its products with the popular public, private, and hybrid cloud environment. F5 Networks said it is integrating its application delivery services with OpenStack, via the OpenStack Community Edition software. F5 said the company's BIG-IP and BIG-IQ solutions will plug into the OPenSTack software, letting users manage those products from the cloud product stack. F5--along with a lot of other companies--are currently in Atlatna for the OpenStack Summit, parading their OpenStack-compatible wares.
