Chirpify's ActionTags Connects Consumers, Brands, TV
See something you'd love to buy on TV, and want to know more? Portland-based Chirpify said this week that it has launched a new product, #Actiontags for TV, which it says will let consumers request products and promotions via Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram -- all based on their hashtag posts. Chirpify said that the new product is aimed at brands, to help them create "conversations" and purchase opportunities directly from their brand advertising. The new service connects hashtags on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram to brands, by allowing consumers to opt-in via their social posts. PRicing on the new service was not announced.
