Demand Media Names Domain Name Spinoff, Sets HQ To Kirkland

Demand Media said today that it has created a name for its newly formed domain services company, which is being based in Kirkland, Washington. Demand Media said the new company will be renamed Rightside Group, Ltd., after the spinoff from Demand Media, headed by Taryn Naidu, currently Demand Media's Executive Vice President of Domain Services. Naidu has headed up the domain business--the bulk of which has been based in Kirkland--since 2011.
