Rightside Group Set For Spinoff From Demand Media

Rightside Group, the domain name services businesses which is based in Seattle and which is part of Demand Media, is expected to separate from Demand Media around August 1st, according tot he company. Demand Media said it expects the tax-free dividend distribution of all outstanding shares of Rightside to its common stock holders by August 1st, with Rightside expected to list itself on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under NAME immediately after that distribution. Rightside Group all of Demand Media's domain name services business, which was originally part of Seattle's eNom. Demand Media decided to spin out the domain name services part of its business over a year ago.
