Amazon.com, Hearst Ink Business Deal
Seattle-based Amazon.com and publisher Hearst Corporation said Tuesday afternoon that the two are in a new, business relationship, which will make Amazon the largest, third-praty seller of print subscriptions for Hearst's magazines via digital channels. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. According to the two, the deal will include consumer marketing, e-commerce, and content relatoinships, providing Hearst with access to Amazon's e-commerce platform. Hearst is expecting the deal to increase its Internet sales.
