Amazon Courts Businesses With New Marketplace, Amazon Business

Seattle-based Amazon.com said Wednesday that it has launched a new, online marketplace specifically focused on businesses. The company said its new Amazon Business marketplace will offer up products specifically focused on businesses, and handle such issues as multi-user business accounts, approval workflow, tax exemption, payment solutions, dedicated customer support, and more. In addition, Amazon said it would offer up free, two day shipping on orders of $49 or more to its business users, quantity pricing, and very specific business items like traffic signs, industrial steel drums, and more.
