Cray Sells Supercomputer To GE
Seattle-based supercomputer maker Cray said this morning that it has sold one of its Cray XE6m supercomputers to GE Global Research, the R&D arm of General Electric. Financial impact of the win was not announced. Cray said GE is using its supercomputer to support simulation-based engineering and science at the company.
