Intellectual Ventures Signs Micron

Bellevue-based Intellectual Ventures, the patent storehouse headed by Nathan Myrhvold, said today that it has inked an property license agreement with semiconductor maker Micron. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The two said that the agreement will provide Micron with access to Intellectual Ventures more than 30,000 IP assets. As part of the agreement, the two said the have included the option to buy patents from each other to help defend against patent lawsuits.
