Intellectual Ventures Adds American Express

Bellevue-based Intellectual Ventures said this morning that it has added another licensee to its trove of patents, this time saying that American Express has signed a license agreement with the company. Intellectual Ventures said that the deal will give American Express access to its more than 35,000 IP assets. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Intellectual Ventures is led by Nathan Myhrvold.
