Intellectual Ventures Signs Taiwanese Firm

Bellevue-based Intellectual Ventures and Taiwanese manufacturer Nanya Technology Corporation said today that the two are in an intellectual property license agreement. The firms said that Nanya will license segments of Intellectual Ventures portfolio of patents. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Nanya had been being sued by Intellectual Ventures over patent infringement. The two said that, due to the licensing, the current ITC dispute between the two companies had been "amicably resolved to their mutual benefit."
