Intellectual Ventures Signs Taiwanese Firm

Bellevue-based Intellectual Ventures, the patent storehouse run by Nathan Myhrvold, and Taiwanese firm Chunghwa Pictures Tubes Ltd., said today that they are in a set of intellectual property agreements. Details on those agreements, and financial aspects of the deal, were not announced. The two said that the deal gives Chunghwa Pictures Tubes (CPT) access to IV's IP assets. CPT is a manufacturer of LCD displays.
