ThePlatform Signs NewsCorp.

Seattle-based thePlatform, a provider of tools for managing online video, said today that News Digital Media, the online business of News' Corporation's Australian subisidary, News Limited, has selected the firm's products. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. According to thePlatform, it will publish and manage online video across 50 News Digital Media Properties in Australia. The deal includes The Australian, and the Australian sites of magazines like Vogue and Notebook Magazine. thePlatform develops media players and other online video publishing and management tools.
