Stratos Genomics Raises $4M

Seattle-based Stratos Genomics, a developer of DNA sequencing equipment for genome analysis and molecular diagnostics, announced Tuesday afternoon that it has raised $4M in a Series A funding. According to the firm, the round was led by Fisk ventures, and also included Stratos Group LLC. Stratos Genomics said its technique for nucleic acid sequencing circumvents the limitations of competing technologies, allowing accurate, ultra-low-cost whole genome sequencing. More information »
