OVP Gets Exit At Complete Genomics

Kirkland- and Portland-based OVP Venture Partners can chalk up another exit among its portfolio firms today, after Complete Genomics priced its IPO, saying it will debut on the NASDAQ Global Market tomorrow. Complete Genomics said it is selling 6 million shares of its common stock at $9.00 per share, after it priced its IPO this evening. Pricing was below the firm's initial target range of $12.00 to $14.00 per share. OVP Venture Partners is one of the major shareholders of Complete Genomics, owning around 14.8 percent of the firm. Complete Genomics is based in Mountain View, California, and provides outsourced gene sequencing services to its customers.
