BrightBytes Acquired By Microsoft

Microsoft announced this morning that it has acquired BrightBytes, the developer of personalized learning software for the education and school district market. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. According to Microsoft, BrightBytes becomes part of its Microsoft global education team. BrightBytes had developed DataSense, a software platform used by education solutions providers and school districts for data management and collection across education apps. BrightBytes was based in San Francisco.
