Rover.com Expands Across U.S.
Seattle-based Rover.com, an online marketplace for connecting dog owners with local dog sitters, said today that it is planning an "aggressive" market expansion across the U.S. The firm said it is planning to open up in Los Angeles, Cleveland, and Washington, D.C. this month, with plans for dozens of other U.S. markets by the end of the year. Rover.com, which is headed by Aaron Easterly, said the expansion comes due to the recent $3.4M funding round it received by Madrona Venture Group.
