Microsoft Buys Intentional Software
Microsoft announced early this morning that it is buying Bellevue-based Intentional Software, a developer of team productivity apps that was created by former Microsoft exec Charles Simonyi. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Simonyi will re-join Microsoft as part of the acquisition. Simonyi--who helped create Microsoft Excel and Word--founded Intentional Software in 2002.
