Microsoft Buys Chalkup
Chalkup, a startup developing e-learning software for teachers, has been acquired by Microsoft, to help Microsoft bolster its Microsoft Education products, the two companies said this morning. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Chalkup, which is based in San Francisco, offers up its software for free to teachers to communicate with students and parents. Chalkup's users are being redirected to Microsoft's own software, Microsoft Teams for Education. Chalkup's CEo and founder is Justin Chando.
