Lyft: $35.1M Generated For Seattle In 2016

On-demand ridesharing service operator Lyft says its service generated more than $35.1M in economic benefits for Seattle in 2016, based on a new study from the firm. Lyft--which released the study, conducted by the Land Econ Group, yesterday--said that passengers in Seattle will save $18.3M in travel time alone, and over 783,900 travel hours this year. Lyft released the study, which covered its 20 biggest markets, on Monday, to publicize its effect on local economies.
