Zimride's Lyft Targets Seattle With Ridesharing App

Ridesharing application Lyft disclosed today that it is planning to start offering its service in Seattle, the third market for the Bay Area startup. Lyft's ridesharing marketplace lets users find others willing to gift them a lift across town, via a mobile app. Lyft's first markets were San Francisco and Los Angeles. Lyft is not the only ridesharing/carsharing service to debut in this market; Uber, SideCar, and Car2Go also have operations here. Lyft is owned by Zimride.
