Sprint, Niantic Tie On Pokemon Go: A Pokestop At Every Sprint Store Monday
Sprint and Pokemon Go developer Niantic announced this morning that the two have inked a deal where every Sprint store--as well as RadioShack and Boost stores run by Spring---will become a Pokestop and Gym. Financial details of the deal were not announced. According to the two, who announced the deal on Wednesday morning through a press conference, more than 10,500 stores will be included in the deal. Sprint also said it will set up specific charging stations for users of Pokemon Go, and that it will offer up special items, free refreshments, and more to those players. The partnership starts on Monday, and comes in sync with the launch of "Gen 2" of Pokemon Go next week.
