Clearwire To Get $1B From Sprint

Kirkland-based wireless provider Clearwire is set to gain $1 billion in payments from Sprint, as the two said that they have amended their long term agreements, and set new wholesale pricing between the companies. The two said that Sprint will provide Clearwire with a minimum of $1 billion, to be paid during 2011 and 2012, for its 4G wholesale services. Sprint is Clearwire's biggest customer and investor. The companies said that Sprint has committed to $300M in 2011, $550M in 2012, and prepaymen tof $175M in future 4G services.
