Sprint May Buy Rest of Clearwire

Wireless carrier Sprint Nextel is considering buying the rest of Bellevue-based wireless data provider Clearwire, according to multiple reports Tuesday. Sprint--which already owns a majority of Clearwire--is apparently considering buying out the rest of Clearwire's minority investors. Sprint itself is in the process of being acquired by Softbank Corp. Neither Clearwire or Sprint have commented on the rumored deal, which came via the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Bloomberg, and others.
